42 new buses to reduce Gurgaon's traffic woes

The transport department has finalised four routes on which 42 new buses will ply on inter- and intra-city routes.

The transport department has finalised four routes on which 42 new buses will ply on inter- and intra-city routes.

From May 5, buses will ply on the inter-city route -Manesar to Karol Bagh (Delhi) - and intra-city route -Gurgaon bus stand to Hong Kong market. The service will be available from 6am to 10pm The service from Dundahera (Udyog Vihar) to Rajiv Chowk (Expressway) and Sector 29 to railway station will start later.

The first route will start from Maruti gate number 1, 2, 3 and 4, and pass through Honda, IMT crossing, Kherki Daula toll plaza, Narsinghpur, Khandsa, Hero Honda, Anaj Mandi, Hanse enclave, Rajeev Chowk, 32nd Milestone, Signature Towers, Iffco Chowk, Atlas Chowk, Shankar Chowk, Ambience Mall, Rajokri, Mahipalpur and end at Karol Bagh.

The second route will start from Gurgaon bus stand and pass SBI bank, Sector 14 girls school, Sukhrali, Iffco Chowk, MG road, Sikandarpur Metro Station, DLF Phase-1, Paras Chowk, DLF Central Court, Golf Course, Genpact Chowk, Sun City, Sector 54, AIT, Sector 56 Chowk, Huda office, Kendriya Vihar more and end at Hong Kong market.
