6 members of media attacked in Baramulla

A news channel team was fired upon by unknown persons on Friday evening in Baramulla when they were returning in their OB Van after interviewing the wife of Afzal Guru, sentenced to death in the Parliament attack case, but escaped unhurt, ZEE TV claimed.
ZEE TV's Srinagar bureau chief Nasser Ahmed said he and five staff members were returning to Srinagar from Sopore when their OB Van was fired upon at Azadganj by unidentified persons.
Several shots were fired and two of the shots hit their vehicle, but none was hurt, he said.
The TV team had gone to Sopore to interview wife of Afzal Guru, sentenced to death in the Parliament attack case, he said.
