7 killed, 22 injured in accident in Dehradun
Seven people were killed and 22 injured today when the bus carrying them fell into the river Ganga near Nakhuridunda in Uttarkashi district.

Seven people were killed and 22 injured on Wednesday when the bus carrying them fell into the river Ganga near Nakhuridunda in Uttarkashi district.
The number of passengers travelling in the bus from Gangotri to Rishikesh was not known but the driver lost control over the vehicle due some "technical fault", Uttarkashi Superintendent of Police Neelesh Anand Bharare said.
The injured were admitted to a nearby hospital and senior police and administrative officials have gone to the accident site to supervise rescue operations, he said.
