900 students to take part in national school hockey

NATIONAL SCHOOL hockey tournament will begin on January 28. Schools from 30 states will take part in the tournament. The tournament will be held for the under-19 players.

NATIONAL SCHOOL hockey tournament will begin on January 28. Schools from 30 states will take part in the tournament. The tournament will be held for the under-19 players.

About 900 players 30 teams (boys and girls) from all over the country will take part in the tournament. District Collector Vivek Aggarwal briefed the organising committee about hosting of the national school hockey. The matches will be played at the Nehru stadium and Christian College grounds.

Various committees have been formed for the successful conduct of the tournament. The Collector said that they would take help of Madhya Pradesh Hockey Association. The Collector formed a committee under the chairmanship of Upper Collector Ashuthosh Awasti. S B Singh will be the organising secretary.
