Sources told on Monday that 85 per cent votes were cast in the elections.

Left Front has already won 109 seats unopposed in six gram panchayats. The LF had contested all the seats and Congress in 5544 seats.

According to DIG Police Control Nepal Das, the elections were free from any incident.

Meanwhile, State Election Commission would hold repoll on Wednesday in 11 seats in West, South and North Tripura districts where voting was stopped due to defective printing and inept handling of ballot papers.
