A newly-introduced gadget for the hearing impaired functions not just as a hearing aid but also as a ‘lifestyle hearing device’ — it provides wireless connectivity to external sound sources such as mobile phones, TV, music players and computers. Called Verité, the device combines a proprietary signal processing and multi-environment technology along with wireless technology. The hearing aid has been developed by Bernafon.
