Bloom Studio’s new Planetary for iPad application has taken music entertainment to a next level. The free app visualises your iTunes music library as a galaxy floating in space, reports the Daily Mail.

After selecting which artist you want to listen to, the app represents the act as a solar system.

Each album is presented as a planet, while each song is a moon circling whatever the selected parent album is.

iPadThe diametre of a moon's orbit correlates directly to how long each track is.

Unfortunately, there's currently no way to make a song-list, although this is likely to change with a future update.

Similarly, double-clicking on a planet to play an album in its entirety doesn't work; instead, you can only choose one song at a time.
