Scripting, producing, directing and acting, Sohail Khan has dabbled in all aspects of filmmaking. But what does he enjoy the most? Prompt comes the response, “Acting is fun and the best among the rest. It does not involve much responsibility.”

So does this jack of all trade shy away from responsibilities? “No, not at all,” he gushes. In the Capital recently, the Khan junior played the part of a dutiful husband to perfection, cheering his jewellery designer wife Seema as she launched her festive collection.

Money mantra:
About his soon to release film, Aryan, which has been inadvertently delayed, Sohail while clearing the air on the controversy surrounding the interchange of credits for the song Ek look..., says, “I was not aware of the row over the credit of the song by Neha Bhasin, former band member of pop group Viva. Basically, the producers of the film are from New York and they ran into some problems.
But it is finally releasing on November 10.”

Sohail Khan's much-awaited film, Aryan, finally releases on November 10.

Variety adds spice:

Sohail has tried his hand at different genres including action, romance and comedy and as he says, “Variety makes my job exciting.” And what is his favourite genre? “I don’t want to be typecast. I want to do different kind of roles and also make different kind of films. I love experimenting rather than repeating myself,” he says. The actor says that awards aren’t the be-all and end-all of life for him.

“I feel the biggest hits are the biggest awards because that shows people have liked and accepted your film,” Sohail says.

Priceless joy:

All praises for his wife Seema and her latest jewellery collection, he says, “I think she’s great. Seema has just started working independently. I like the fact that her creations are exclusive. And I really admire the kind of effort and research that she has put into her work. I wonder whether I could do the same!” Any plans to use her creations in his films? “I don’t know. No plans so far,” Sohail says, with a twinkle in his eyes.

So how does this busy star actually relax? “It is simple. I hit the gym.” Give him a quizzical look and he grins, “I know it is weird when I say I go to the gym to relax. But that’s how it is.” If gymming is the new stress-buster, we suggest you follow his top.
