Advocate held for operating chain snatching gang

An advocate was arrested and sent to Jail for allegedly operating a chain snatching gang in Narsinghpur, police said.

An advocate was on Monday arrested and sent to Jail for allegedly operating a chain snatching gang in Narsinghpur, police said.

"Advocate Subodhi Tiwari (32) was arrested after two accused Rajesh Namdeo and Rajesh Choubey nabbed on February four while snatching a chain of a woman from Housing Board Colony, told the police that the lawyer was the kingpin of their gang, the Narsinghpur Superintendent of Police, A Sai Manohar, said.

"The police booked Tiwari under section 34, 120 (b) and 393 of IPC and produced him before a local court from where he was sent to the Jail," he added.
