Jagannath, who represents the Nagarkurnool Lok Sabha constituency, was shown on camera shouting down TDP MLA and former minister N Janardhan Reddy and gesticulating at him in an angry manner during a district review meeting on Saturday.
The video footage of the incident where the MP was also shown banging the desk was aired by a TV channel. The meeting attended by district officials and other public representatives was held in Mahabubnagar town, about 120 km from in Hyderabad.
On June 30, the action of Jagannath against the bank manager for not releasing loans to the SC/ST beneficiaries during a meeting at Uppunutala mandal headquarters in Mahboobnagar district had embarassed the Congress leadership.
The MP later apologised for the incident saying he did not intend to slap the bank official.
