Aijaz Ali is a brilliant all-rounder. Most of his cricket grounding was done in Pakistan where he played in the U-19 in Karachi for Zone 1 before moving to the US in 1990.

He scored an excellent 89 not out Jamaica in the Independence Cup in the Southern California Cricket Association (SCCA) in 1997. He is known to be a strong right handed batsman.

His scored an elegant 140 in semi final match for SCCA. So consistent has been his performance that he has been a permanent fixture in US team since 1994 (Kenya), 1997 (Malaysia) and 2001 (Canada) that has played the ICC Trophy.
