Ailing BJP MPs to participate in trust vote

BJP MP Harischandra Chavan hospitalised in Nashik after a serious accident, was flown to Delhi to participate in the trust vote in Lok Sabha.

BJP MP Harischandra Chavan, hospitalised in Nashik after a serious accident, was on Monday night flown to Delhi to participate in the trust vote in Lok Sabha on Tuesday.

Similarly, Mahesh Kanodia, BJP MP from Gujarat, who is in a Mumbai hospital, would be flown to Delhi either late on Monday night or early on Tuesday, party sources told PTI.

Kanodia underwent an open heart surgery at the Asian Heart Institute here on July 14 and is recuperating there.

Chavan boarded a special aircraft, arranged by the party, from Ojhar airstrip near Nashik.

He is accompanied by orthopaedic surgeon Dr Prashant Patil, in whose care he was for the last several days, Nashik BJP leader Arun Aher said.
