A CPI(M) MLA in Kerala, who was undergoing treatment at a private hospital here, passed away on Friday. Mathai Chacko (47) represents the Thiruvambady constituency in Kozhikode district. He leaves behind his wife Mercy, son Ranjith and daughter Aparna.
