Air India to start morning flight to Jammu from Delhi
The decision was taken at a meeting with Union Aviation Secretary Rajiv Nayan Choubey, after it was proposed to increase flights between Jammu and Delhi, particularly in the early morning and evening hours.

The decision was taken at a meeting with Union Aviation Secretary Rajiv Nayan Choubey, after Singh proposed additional flights between Jammu and Delhi, particularly in the early morning and evening hours.
“The flight will take off from New Delhi 7.45 AM and will reach Jammu at 8.45 AM. After 45 minutes of halt, it will take off from Jammu at 9.30 AM and will reach New Delhi at 10.30 AM,” Singh said.
The flight will operate thrice a day and will be made daily after observing the response to it, The Union Minister said.
This is the first direct flight from Jammu to Delhi in the morning time as earlier any direct flight in this sector is only around 1 PM.
The Centre is also working out the evening flight from Delhi to Jammu and back as the last flight from Jammu-Delhi is at 4 PM and the last flight from Delhi to Jammu is at 2.30 PM.
