ALL INDIA Students Association (AISA) and Inqalabi Nawjawan Sabha (INS) held an indefinite dharna at the district headquarters here on Monday.

The activists demanded dismissal of the State government for its ‘anti-youth’ policies and termed the unemployment allowance declaration as an eyewash.
Speaking on the occasion, AISA state president Ramayan Ram and INS district president Om Prakash Pal accused the State government of deceiving the youths and the students. They said that the State government had still not initiated the process for disbursement of unemployment allowance.
The activists threatened to continue their dharna till the government took concrete step for disbursal of unemployment allowance.
Those present on the occasion included AIPVA leader Tulika Asthana, All India Khet Mazdoor Sabha (AIKMS) district secretary Hansraj Kol, Sujeet Kumar Srivastava of UP Apprentice Mahasangh, Jan Sanskriti president Mritunjay, Akansha Singh, Seema Yadav, Laxman, Shivaji Yadav, Sunil Maurya, Kranti Bodh, Kamlakant, Arif, Shyam Sunder, Jitendra and Alok Srivastava, among others.
