"Allah has listened to my prayers. My brother-in-law will be out of jail soon," said Kamrunnisa Begum, wife of Chisty's younger brother, Jamil.

Chisty, accused of killing a man named Idris during a brawl in Ajmer, was undergoing life imprisonment at a jail in Ajmer.

But jail authorities claimed they had not received the bail orders yet. "He will be released as soon as his release orders reach us," said jail superintendent KS Mathur.
