Authorities allowed 3565 devotees, including 54 children, to proceed from the base camp of MAM stadium here.
The yatra was suspended from Jammu to Amarnath on July 12 as it was snowing and raining at some places along the Pahalgam and Baltal routes, the sources said.
Jammu-Srinagar highway too remained closed for two days due to landslides and one way traffic resumed on the 300 km highway on July 14 but yatra was not allowed even then, they said.
