Anthrax affects 20 people in W Bengal village

Skin samples of the affected people were collected and were sent for clinical test, the medical officer said.

About 20 people were reported to be affected with Anthrax at Panditpur village in Nadia district over the past 10 days, chief medical officer of health Mrinal Kanti Biswas said.

Anthrax started after some people of the village ate stale beef, which was infected with the disease, he said.
