AP govt formally launches AROGYASRI in Vijayawada

AP Minister for Medical Education and Health Insurance Galla Aruna Kumari formally launched AROGYASRI, the state's health insurance scheme, in the district at the M J Naidu Joint Replacement centre in Vijayawada.

So far 1.65 lakh patients had been treated under this scheme, she said adding more and more diseases would be added to be covered under this scheme for the benefit of the people.

State minister for Animal Husbandry Mandali Buddha Prasad and Municipal Administration Minister Koneru Ranga Rao were also present on the occasion.
