Army jawan injured in encounter in J&K

An army jawan was injured on Monday in an encounter with militants in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir, police officials said.
The jawan was injured during a brief encounter with the militants when the army was carrying out a search operation in Pinjyari Dachan forest belt in the district today, the officials said.
The jawan was shifted to a hospital, they said, adding the gunbattle was on when the reports last came in.
