Army weapons? exhibition inaugurated

A TWO-DAY armament and equipment display of the Indian Army today got underway with people including women and school going kids forming beeline to get a close look at the controversial Bofors 155 mm howitzer and Russia- made 130 mm field gun.

A TWO-DAY armament and equipment display of the Indian Army today got underway with people including women and school going kids forming beeline to get a close look at the controversial Bofors 155 mm howitzer and Russia- made 130 mm field gun.

On the day one, a large number of people visited the exhibition showcasing among other things, a mine- proof vehicle and a kitchen container atop a vehicle. Talking to media persons, General Officer Commanding (G-o-C), Madhya Bharat Area, Major General Ashok Khosla said the display of Army weapons’ has been organised to make the public aware of the
ammunition being used by the Indian Army.
