He has drawn pictures of President APJ Abdul Kalam, Goddess Kali, Lord Krishna and Shivling with the help of smoke created by burning wood. He has a desire to present his depiction of the President to him. He is making efforts to have an appointment with the President in the near future.

Nishad, while expressing his love for smoke painting said that in his childhood he had seen black smoke from the oil-burnt earthen lamp creating abstract figures on the wall. The experience proved to be an eye-opener for him.

He decided to make beautiful and meaningful drawings with the help of smoke. Though he knew that the task was very difficult yet he accepted the challenge and continued to draw pictures by creating smoke.

Soon he succeeded in his efforts and made several attractive figures with smoke.

According to him he was venturing to create a figure that could be seen only in “pink light.” His main grudge is that the State Government has failed to recognise his art and extend assistance for developing his skills.
