AS Aulakh?s death condoled

THE MADHYA Pradesh Chapter of the IPS Association held a condolence meeting at the Police Headquarters to pay last respects to senior IPS officer AS Aulakh who passed away on Sunday.

THE MADHYA Pradesh Chapter of the IPS Association held a condolence meeting at the Police Headquarters to pay last respects to senior IPS officer AS Aulakh who passed away on Sunday. Aulakh was posted as chairman of Madhya Pradesh Police Housing Corporation. ADG (Intelligence) SK Raut recalled the services of Aulakh at the meet.

The IPS Association expressed their grief over the death and paid tributes to the departed soul. The association members observed a two-minute silence to pay homage. Aulakh had gone to Indore to participate in a golf competition when he suffered a cardiac arrest. He was taken to Mumbai by plane where the doctors declared him dead.

Aulakh’s mortal remains were taken to Delhi by plane on Sunday night and then to Chandigarh by road. The last rites will be conducted at Chandigarh. Aulakh was born in Amritsar in 1947. He was selected in the IPS in 1971.

DGP Swaraj Puri has expressed grief at the untimely death of Aulakh. In his message, Puri said that Aulakh was a dedicated officer who undertook his responsibilities efficiently. He has commiserated with the deceased’s family.
