Farah Khan, who got friendly with Asin during her show Tere Mere Beach Mein, approached the actress for a role opposite King Khan. Asin after consulting her father, turned down the offer, citing date problems.

The movie which was earlier touted as Deepika Padukone's debut vehicle is slated to go on the floors by the end of this year.

Now, grapevine suggests that Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Kareena Kapoor are in race for the role.
