At least nine persons died in the early hours of Friday when a van in which they were travelling in collided head on with a tanker in Dindigal district of Tamil Nadu.

At least nine persons died in the early hours of Friday when a van in which they were travelling in collided head on with a tanker in Dindigal district of Tamil Nadu, police said.
Police suspect that the driver of the van may have dozed off and hit the tanker.
All the passengers in the van were returning from the hill resort of Kodaikanal.
