ATS quizzes Abhinav Bharat president

A team of Anti-Terrorist Squad of Maharashtra today quizzed Abhinav Bharat president Himani Savarkar for about three hours in connection with Malegaon bomb blasts.

A team of Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) of Maharashtra on Friday quizzed Abhinav Bharat president Himani Savarkar in connection with Malegaon bomb blasts, ATS sources said.

Savarkar, who was questioned for about three hours, was asked to elaborate on the ideology of the outfit that has come under a scanner following disclosures that some of the accused in the case including Lt Col S P Purohit were associated with it, they said.

Savarkar told PTI that the investigating officers had informed her that she would be summoned again if required during the course of investigation.
