Australian women defeated India 2-1 in the final of Fed Cup Asia-Oceania zone Group I at Olympic Park in South Korea on Saturday.

With the win, Australia advance to the World Group II play-offs in July while India will remain in Group I of the Asia-Oceania zone.
Shikha Uberoi gave India a fine start by defeating World No 179 Casey Dell'acqua 6-3 6-2, according to the official Fed Cup website.
The Aussies then drew level as Samantha Stosur surprised Sania Mirza, ranked 40th in the world, 6-4, 6-1.
In the deciding doubles match, the world's top doubles player Stosur and world No. 6 Rennae Stubbs defeated Sania and Shikha 7-6 (7-4) 6-2 to clinch the tie 2-1.
