An Australian green buildings trade delegation is visiting India from September 9 to 12 to participate at the Indian green buildings congress 2009 to be held in Hyderabad.

An Australian green buildings trade delegation is visiting India from September 9 to 12 to participate at the Indian green buildings congress 2009 to be held in Hyderabad.

The delegation comprising 29 Australian firms will be the largest ever Australian contingent in the building and construction sector visiting India, an Australian Trade Commission release said on Monday.

Australia is at the forefront of constantly evolving standards in the international building and construction industry.

A combination of domain skills,technology expertise and implementation experience in green buildings are some of the key competencies of Australian green building sector, the release said.
