AUTA flays misbehaviour with Science dean

MEMBERS OF the Allahabad University Teachers? Association (AUTA) held a meeting at the AU Sanskrit department on Friday and condemned the recent incident of misbehaviour and threatening of dean (Science) Prof Hari Prakash. The meeting was presided over by AUTA president Prof Ram Kishore Shastri. The AUTA members demanded immediate arrest of the culprits and threatened to launch an agitation in protest.

MEMBERS OF the Allahabad University Teachers’ Association (AUTA) held a meeting at the AU Sanskrit department on Friday and condemned the recent incident of misbehaviour and threatening of dean (Science) Prof Hari Prakash. The meeting was presided over by AUTA president Prof Ram Kishore Shastri.
The AUTA members demanded immediate arrest of the culprits and threatened to launch an agitation in protest.

The members also resolved to convene a general house meeting of the association on January 23 at 1.30 pm at the AU Sanskrit Department in this regard.

A number of varsity teachers including Prof Manorama Singh, Prof SK Sharma and Dr AP Ojha were present on the occasion.
Students’ union holds fashion show

EWING CHRISTIAN College students’ union organised a fashion show as part of an ongoing ten-day Yuva Mahotsav on Sunday.

According to students’ union president Vikramjit Singh, the programme was inaugurated by Kumar Narayan and conducted by former president of ECC students’ union Om Prakash Dwivedi

Many students participated in the fashion show organised on the ECC campus.
The first position among boys was held jointly by Sandeep Pandey, Rana Rupendra Singh and Santosh Yadav, whereas Anoop Tiwari and Arvind Yadav stood second and third respectively.

Dipti Rai and Jyoti Sharma were the combined winner, whereas Vandana Sharma and Shweta Shukla were second and third respectively.
