Bajaj Auto Ltd, India's second-biggest motorcycle maker, said on Tuesday vehicle sales in April rose 29 per cent to 212,123 units from 165,045 units a year earlier.

It said sales of motorcycles rose 37 per cent to 188,518 units from 137,858 and sales of all two-wheelers grew 29 per cent to 190,964 units against 147,592 units a year earlier.
Sales of three-wheelers climbed 21 per cent to 21,159 units from 17,453 a year earlier.
The company said exports rose 67 per cent to 31,715 units from 19,007 units a year earlier.
