Barley ten days ahead of the civic polls Thackeray senior will meet party rank and file at Shanmukhanand auditorium on January 22, to discuss the party strategy for the civic polls slated on February 1.
Party leaders, deputy leaders, Vibhag Pramukhs and Shaka Pramukhs would attend the meeting and take on the message of party chief to their respective areas. A senior party leader on condition of anonymity said, "On this day Balasheab would also release the caste prepared by Marathi-Hindi remix singer Avadhoot Gupte for the campaigning of the party."
The hi-tech audio-visual campaigning is much tested formula that has worked for the party during the 1992 assembly elections and 1996 and 1998 Lok Sabha polls.
