Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly on Sunday said it was for the Government and the Cricket Board to decide whether the tour of Bangladesh should go ahead in the wake of the death threat issued by a militant group in Dhaka.

"It would not be proper for me to make a statement on this issue. Whatever decision is taken by the Government and the Board, we will follow it," Ganguly said.

"...I have no idea about the group, how threatening it is. The case is sensitive and so my saying whether we wish to tour or not will not be right," he told news channel Aaj Tak.

The captain also said that if the government gave the clearance, then the players would have no problem in going ahead with the tour.

"We were planning to do well there. The situation (in Bangladesh) is different from the time we last toured that country. When we get to know the situation there, we will be able to say something."
