A 25 year-old woman committed suicide by hanging after doing the same to her three year-old son and strangulating her one year-old daughter at her residence in HSR Layout in Bangalore on Friday, police said.

A 25 year-old woman committed suicide by hanging after doing the same to her three year-old son and strangulating her one year-old daughter at her residence in HSR Layout in Bangalore on Friday, police said.

The woman committed the crime when her husband, a labourer, was away at work.

Police suspect marital disharmony to be the reason behind the crime. However, the real motive is yet to be ascertained as her husband was being questioned, they said.
