Bangladesh rakes up Saradha money with India

Bangladesh foreign minister AH Mahmood Ali learnt to have taken up issue of Saradha scam money making its way to fund to Jamaat-e-Islami in the neighbouring country during his meeting with national security adviser Ajit Doval on Friday.

Bangladesh foreign minister AH Mahmood Ali learnt to have taken up issue of Saradha scam money making its way to fund to Jamaat-e-Islami in the neighbouring country during his meeting with national security adviser Ajit Doval on Friday.It is learnt Bangladesh wants India to ensure it remains sensitive to its security concerns.

Trinamool Congress MP Ahmad Hasan Imran, a former general secretary Students’ Islamic Movement of India, which had been banned in the country, allegedly facilitated the money.

Hasan and Trinammol vehemently denied these allegations, but BJP has made this an issue. BJP even charged that Trinamool was assured by Jamaat-e-Islami that a section of leaders of the minority community in West Bengal would mobilise the minority votebank in the party’s favour.
