"It is an internal matter of India. But we are relieved and the court order sets the ball rolling. We never had a doubt that the row over TV rights would derail the tour," PCB's media advisor Abbas Zaidi said while reacting to the court order on the telecast rights.

The row over telecast rights in India created apprehensions that the tour may be further delayed or cancelled.

He said the PCB has already written to BCCI seeking telecast rights to air the matches in Pakistan to PTV.

"We have written the letter earlier. But now that the issue was settled in India we hope BCCI will take it up with Prasar Bharati regarding out-granting right to PTV to telecast the matches in Pakistan," he said.

Earlier, Pakistan's information minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said PTV has taken up the issue of obtaining terrestrial rights with the Indian authorities.

He told a TV channel here that PTV hopes to get the rights as it provided all necessary facilities to Doordarshan during the last years Indo-Pakistan Test series played in Pakistan.
