The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) prepared the itinerary for the Test series against Sri Lanka and the home series against England during its Tour and Fixture Committee meeting on Saturday.

After the meeting, chaired by BCCI Vice President Kamal Morarka, Secretary S K Nair said, "According to the rotation policy, Delhi, Kanpur and Chennai will host the three Test matches against Sri Lanka even though the order of the venues has not been finalised. We would have to wait for the Sri Lankan board's view before finalising that."

The first Test will be played from December 2-6, while the second is slated for December 10-14 and the third from December 18-22.

He also announced that Ahmedabad, Nagpur and Mumbai have been selected as Test venues for the three-match series against England.

"England will play two warm up matches before the Test series. The Test matches have been slated for March 8-12, March 16-20 and March 25-29," he informed.

Meanwhile, BCCI has allotted a one dayer to Goa in the ODI series against England.

The rest of the matches have been scheduled for Indore, Guwahati, Faridabad, Cuttack, Cochin and Visakhapatnam.

The ODIs will be played on April 4, 7, 10, 13, 16, 19 and 22.

"The English cricket board has requested us to send the itinerary as early as possible but after the Annual General Body Meeting was adjourned, the new committee could not take over and the existing committee, in keeping with the rotation policy, took decision on the matter."

"However, these are the sub-committee's proposal which needs to be ratified," Mr Nair said.
