The Indian Cricket Board is keen that the triangular one-day series in Sri Lanka, with South Africa as the third team, be scheduled between August 15 and 30 and not in September as has been proposed by the Lankan board.

"We want the tri-series to be held in August rather than what has been proposed by the Sri Lankan board, which is in September," BCCI Secretary Niranjan Shah said.
"I am going to Colombo to attend the Asian Cricket Council's Executive Board meeting on May 21 and would take the opportunity to discuss the matter with the Lankan board officials," Shah said.
India are keen to have a short one-day series, comprising not more than five matches, against the West Indies in North America in September.
