Pop star Robbie Williams is nursing a broken heart after true love, Rachael Gilson, has finally given up on their on-off romance to marry someone else.

The British hitmaker confessed his enduring feelings for childhood sweetheart Rachael Gilson in his autobiography Feel.

He had even flew her over from the UK to his Los Angeles home last year to persuade her to get back together with him - even though she was already dating her now husband Martin Livesey at the time.

But five days later she was back home after yet another split, which she, blamed on Robbie's huge fame.

Gilson, who recently returned from her honeymoon with Livesey, insists she has moved on from Williams.

"It's true, I got married. I'm really happy. Rob knows and he's happy for me too," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
