BHEL enters Limca Book of records

Public Sector BHEL has entered the Limca book of Records for its contributions towards nation building activities.

The PSU has been given an entry in the book's 'Doing India Proud' section, a company release said.

The book recognises BHEL's contribution to the power development programmes in India, the release said.

The company has supplied products and services to over 65 countries around the world in all the six continents.

BHEL is investing Rs 1,600 crore for modernisation and capacity addition at its facilities to meet the increasing demand for power in the country and also reaffirming its mission of providing power to all by 2012.
