After returning home late on Tuesday night, the student told reporters that she was not abducted, but had eloped with her lover to Indore.

She said when she reached Agra from Indore, she read about her reported abduction and returned home.

Fourteen-year-old Anjali was missing since January 24.

Though the police had been maintaining that it was a case of love affair, her family had lodged a complaint of kidnapping.
