A meeting chaired by Chief Minister M Karunanidhi decided that the bill would be brought forward in the next 10 days after consulting legal experts.

This is in keeping with one of the resolutions adopted in last week's World Classical Tamil Conference, where Karunanidhi among many others, read out a resolution in this regard. "It was decided (in the meeting) that legal experts would be consulted and the bill formulated in 10 days," a government release said.
