The year 2006 will see at least four Bipasha Basu releases - Neeraj Vora’s Phir Hera Pheri, Madhur Bhandarkar’s Corporate, Vishal Bharadwaj’s Omkara and Sanjay Gadhvi’s Dhoom 2.

The actor, who is now shooting for Abbas-Mustan’s untitled film co-starring Sanjay Dutt and Ajay Devgan, speaks exclusively to HT City from UK.

Portraying real life:Corporate is a special film (Bipasha plays a corporate executive). It’s a role many women will identify with. I play a working woman who is busy with her job but doesn’t forget the priorities at home. More importantly, I believed in the film.

Corporate wars: Madhur talks not only about the corporate world. The film shows how people are so different in their behaviour at home and office. Madhur has done extensive research. He has clear ideas about what he wants. He also talks about the man-woman relationship.

On-screen chemistry: I knew that my chemistry with Kay Kay Menon would work. I have been a fan of his.

Bengali debut: I only know Rituparno Ghosh from there. Talks are on for a film, but I don’t know whether it will be a Bengali or Hindi film.

Phir Hera Pheri: That’s a complete laugh riot where everybody, including me, is running after money. It’s about conning people.

Omkara: Vishal has made a fabulous film. (Bipasha plays Billo Chaman Bahar). He has taken the theme of Othello. The way he has taken the film further is amazing.

Busy year ahead: I am just hoping that I do exciting work and people like it.
