BJP, Cong leaders behind framing Judeo: Uma

Expelled BJP leader Uma Bharti on Tuesday alleged that some BJP leaders along with Congress were responsible in framing former Union Minister Dilip Singh Judeo in the cash-in-camera episode just before Chhattisgarh Assembly election in 2003.

"Along with Congress, some BJP leaders were also involved in Judeo episode," Bharti, President of Bharatiya Janashakti Party, said at a press conference.

Refusing to reveal the names of those BJP leaders, she charged there was a "big conspiracy" against Judeo just before the state assembly election of 2003 as the former minister had a wide base in the state and especially among the tribals.

Bharti also demanded proper rehabilitation and honour of the state BJP leader.

"If Sanjay Joshi could be given clean chit and rehabilitated, why not Judeo be honoured when every thing was clear now," she said.
