BJP Delhi state president Harsh Vardhan, in a statement, also demanded an inquiry to assertain what causes the price rise and alleged that the ruling party was 'conspiring' with a group of lobbyists and getting benefited from that.
"This price rice is indicative of a deep conspiracy. By this, the Congress wants to benefit its supporters," Vardhan said.
He said the ruling UPA coalition has not taken any steps to curb the price rise.
