BJP flays Govt's rejection of Mukherjee report

BJP said that it was wrong on the part of the government to have rejected the findings without any basis.

Flaying the government for rejecting the Mukherjee Commission report on the alleged disappearance of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, BJP on Wednesday demanded a fresh extension to the panel or setting up of a new committee to unravel the mystery.

"It was wrong on the part of the government to have rejected the findings without any basis. The mystery behind the death of one of the greatest sons of India should be solved.

"The Government should give either an extension to the Committee or set up another one which can access highly classified documents in the Russian archives and find out the truth", BJP Parliamentary Party spokesman VK Malhotra told reporters in New Delhi.
