BJP leader Advani’s wife Kamla dies of heart attack

Veteran BJP leader L.K. Advani’s wife Kamla Advani died on Wednesday following a heart attack, doctors said.

“Advaniji’s wife was brought to AIIMS after she suffered a heart attack. She has died,” said a doctor at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences.

Sources close to the family said she complained of uneasiness and breathlessness and was rushed to Delhi’s AIIMS.

Besides her husband, Kamla Advani (83) leaves behind a son and a daughter.

She had been suffering from age-related problems for some time and was on wheelchair for the last few months.

Family sources said she was also suffering from memory loss.
