BJP leader, two others killed in bomb attack

BJP leader Manoj Shruti was travelling in a car with family members when it was attacked by Samajwadi Party supporters.

A BJP leader was among three persons killed when alleged supporters of the Samajwadi Party hurled bombs and opened fire on the vehicle carrying the victims near Rani Pur town.

The local BJP leader, Manoj Shruti, and his family members were travelling in a car when it was attacked by Samajwadi Party supporters led by block president Lekhraj, police said.

Shruti and two other family members were killed and two others injured in the attack, sources said, adding that senior officials had reached the site and a hunt had been launched to nab the culprits.
