BJP men vandalise ?dhaba?

A DAY before Bharatiya Janata Party State president Satyanarayan Jatia’s maiden visit to his hometown after assuming office, a group of party workers went on rampage at a ‘dhaba’ here and tried to set it afire on Friday.

Reason - the owner had a scuffle with party City president Shiva Kotwani over a personal issue last night. According to reports, Kotwani’s daughter Dipali was travelling in a car from Indore to Ujjain when a truck dashed it near Toll Tax barrier. She called her father, and Kotwani along with some associates went to the spot.

While Kotwani was having words with the truck driver, nearby ‘dhaba’ owner Suresh Jat entered the fray. Jat and some accomplices allegedly roughed up Kotwani. The police later arrived and arrested Jat.
