“This is a people’s movement for democracy, development and justice for the Madhesia’s staying in that region who constitute about 45 per cent of its population... To drag BJP and RSS name into it is a conspiracy of the Maoists who are feeling scared of the unrest,” party spokesman Prakash Javadekar stated.

He was reacting to the charge levelled by Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) leader CP Gajurel.

“The BJP has always advocated peace, development, democracy and good relations with India in Nepal,” the BJP leader said.
