Hailing the Election Commission order for repoll in 429 polling stations in Bettiah and 193 booths in Siwan Lok Sabha seats in Bihar on May 24, BJP on Wednesday called for deployment of para-military forces at these booths during the voting.

The Commission must also take steps to keep the officials, who allegedly connived with the ruling RJD workers to rig the poll on April 26 in the two constituencies, away from the repoll, party sources said.
The commission has ordered repoll in 429 polling stations in Bettiah and 193 polling booths in Siwan Lok Sabha seats in Bihar on May 24 after the report of the fact-finding teams that went into the allegations of poll irregularities.
Controversial RJD MP Mohd Sahabuddin is seeking re-election from Siwan and noted film maker Prakash Jha is contesting from Bettiah.
The Commission had already countermanded elections in Chapra and ordered repoll on May 31 in the constituency where RJD supremo Laloo Prasad Yadav is pitted against union minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy.
